Amorim: This is the first time I feel the noise of the home team stadium. The feeling of the team is completely different
6686 Sports October 26th In this round of the Premier League, Manchester United defeated Brighton 4-2 at home. The team has achieved three consecutive victories. After the game, Manchester United coach Amorim accepted an interview and expressed satisfaction with the result of the game.
What do you think of the competition?
"It feels great. We got a three-pointer at the home team and performed well overall. Although there was some tension in the final stage, part of it was because of ourselves. When the game reached a 3-0 lead, you could feel that we were very close to scoring the fourth goal instead of worrying about conceding a goal."
After leading 3-0 and being chased to 3-2, how to deal with it?
"This situation happens from time to time in football matches. The situation is clearly under control, but suddenly a goal is scored by the opponent. The opponent's players are talented and have strong dribbling ability. They use this momentum to briefly control the game. But what is worthy of recognition is that our ability to cope with adversity is improving."
How does the voice of the Old Trafford fans feel?
"After scoring the third goal, the sound of the entire game was completely different. That kind of atmosphere, that feeling, was unprecedented. This was the first time I truly experienced the shock of this sound. Of course, as a coach I have to focus on the competition, but there are some moments when this game field can really give you a unique feeling. At that moment, it was really special, even a little incredible."
How is the team different today?
"Everyone feels better now. Even on the way to the game, I noticed that the atmosphere has changed - the players are no longer overwhelmed by pressure, replaced by a sense of excitement, a passion for playing in front of the home team fans. This feeling is completely different. Today, we enjoy the victory."
"But starting from tomorrow, we must prepare for the next game with all our strength. Look at the standings, two weeks are enough to change everything. At this stage, it is not easy for the club to have such positive emotions. We must always remain vigilant and be afraid of returning to the poor competitive state of the past - this 'fear' can exactly push us forward."
