Official: Wolfsburg renews contract with 31-year-old captain Alexander-Arnold until 2028
6686 Sports November 7th Wolfsburg official news, the team extended the contract with 31-year-old captain Maximilian Arnold for two years until 2028.
Arnold, 31, joined Wolfsburg’s youth training in 2009 and made his Bundesliga debut on behalf of the team on November 26, 2011. He still holds the record for the youngest Bundesliga debut in team history. His first Bundesliga goal was scored against Hoffenheim on April 13, 2013. He is still the second youngest goalscorer in team history.
As of today, Arnold has played 458 times for Wolfsburg in all competitions and scored 49 goals. He is the current record holder for appearances in team history. During his 14 years of playing, he won a German Cup championship and a German Super Cup championship with the team.
