“Excellent results are neither God-given nor accidental, but the result of daily hard work, the courage to take decisions and the full use of accumulated experience. There is no secret to victory: firstly, intensive daily execution within the framework of the recovery plan, and then the growth plan, with the core premise that neither the membership model nor the Weaken (contrary to strengthen) the institutional value of the club."
Laporta emphasized that it was these key measures that allowed Barcelona to transform from a situation on the verge of financial bankruptcy to achieve a positive profit of 2 million euros this season and set a revenue record in the fields of sponsorship (259 million euros) and peripheral merchandise (170 million euros).
When explaining the club's economic improvement, Laporta specifically mentioned the reduction in the total sports salary - the current salary ratio of ordinary income has dropped to 54%, which is within the lower limit range stipulated by UEFA.
Looking to the future, Laporta also elaborated on revenue growth plans without changing Barcelona's unique membership model. "Ordinary revenue is expected to reach 1.075 billion euros. This growth is due to the gradual return to the Nou Camp, which will significantly increase the revenue of the competition. In short, the continued realization of positive ordinary profits means that the membership model is guaranteed and there is no risk."
