No more training! Nigeria captain: Issue resolved, outstanding payments received

However, today the captain of the Nigerian national team, Ekon, who currently plays for Las Eternity, posted on social media: "The problem has been resolved and the outstanding financial payments have been received. The team is as united as ever and focused on representing Nigeria with all its strength in the next competition."
Previously, 23 players in the Nigerian team went on strike in an attempt to recover the subsidies and bonuses that were owed since 2019. The National Sports Council of Nigeria has intervened in the matter and ensured that the team can resume training in time for the competition in Rabat.
