Suns coach: Marvel will play against the Jazz, and Green is getting closer to returning to the game
6686 Sports, October 26th The NBA regular season continues, and the Suns challenge the Nuggets in the away court today.
Suns coach Jordan Otsay revealed that it is part of the plan (for knee management) to have Mark Williams miss today's game against the Nuggets, which is the Suns' second back-to-back game.
"Continuing to build his strength. We're managing his minutes starting with three games in four days, and that's just part of the plan." Jordan Ott said.
He also revealed that Marvel will play in the away game against the Jazz, "If everything returns to normal. We will continue to evaluate him. Everything looked good after his last game (against the Clippers). Because the game lost suspense early, he did not play a lot of time, but, yes, everything looks good."
Talk about Jaylen Green's recovery after today's practice: "It's great. He continues to make progress. He is getting closer to returning to the game every day, and we feel good about it. We will see how his recovery progresses."
Ma Wei averaged 19 minutes per game in the first two games, scoring 4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1 block.
